And ain’t that the truth today!
USA Today newspaper had one of those little graph boxes they do and they asked people how they were going to increase their savings. About 20 percent answered the lottery! And the next option was selling possessions. So there’s obviously a lot of misconceptions about what it takes to reach success in anything.
In Network Marketing we have a true pathway to success. But a few things you must always remember:
Success occurs despite obstacles.
Success occurs in the presence of fear.
Success occurs despite fear.
People say, “I have this problem so I can’t do the business.” No you need to do the business because you have that problem. Just saying…

Network marketing (or multilevel marketing)=leveraged income
Network marketing (or multilevel marketing) is a legitimate business model based on providing people with real, legitimate products and services they need and want at a fair price.
Many people make a lot of money through network marketing (in fact, our industry has created the most millionaires of any industry!). But like any business, the financial benefits you experience will be based in part on the results of your own dedicated efforts in building an organization that sells real products and services.
Early in its history network marketing meant retailing to and sponsoring friends and relatives - your "warm list" of prospects. Today network marketers use sophisticated marketing techniques such as the Internet, conference calling and other long-distance sponsoring techniques that allows them to extend their network across the country. Although... we still highly recommend you DO contact your 'warm market,' do you know why? This IS a relationship business... we said contact, invite, NOT 'beat them up' or 'pressure' them! Also, we are now inviting them to amazing technology/tools/webinars/web sites, not necessarily dragging them to a meeting... at least not for the initial introduction! We DO love events for team building & training! And, what better excuse to get together than celebrating making money together!
Network marketing isn't a get rich quick scheme. Ultimate success in network marketing is achieved by following some very basic principles.
Network marketing:
Is a serious business for serious people.
Requires no big capital requirements. It won’t cost huge sums of money to get involve in network marketing.
Is the perfect home based business.
Has no geographical limitations. You can run your network marketing business anywhere in the world.
Has no minimum sales quota requirements (though most companies do require your business expense of an 'autoship' usually ranging from $50-$100, but that beats the overhead of 'traditional business, employees, rent, etc!'.
Requires no special education or skills needed.
Is a low-overhead, home-based business that offers many of the tax advantages associated with owning your own business.
Is all about leverage - leverage your time and increase the number of hours of work effort on which you’re paid by sponsoring other people and earning a small income on their efforts. By helping the people you personally sponsor to sponsor others, you duplicate yourself. This concept is the cornerstone of network marketing.
It takes commitment, determination and hard work to achieve success in your network marketing business.
You improve your chances of success when you choose a company that:
Sells products or services that are unique or consumable. To be successful, you must provide products and services that the average person will use.
Has people that will guide and assist you with the necessary support and resources to help you grow and be successful.
Provides training; developing your marketing and sales skills is essential in network marketing. Unfortunately, this vital component is missing in many company training programs. Ongoing training is essential to building a successful business.
